Florence + The Machine: Ceremonials

Following the success of their first album ‘Lungs’, UK indie sensation Florence + The Machine released their sophomore album ‘Ceremonials’. In the days surrounding the release, lead singer, Florence Welch aka Flo, was seemingly in a million places at once promoting the release, appearing on The X Factor, conducting a YouTube Q&A and a Clash magazine interview, to name a few.

Bassnectar @ Hard Rock Live

Last Thursday, October 20th, I had the opportunity to do some “first hand research” in the industry of live music events. Hard Rock Live was proud to present Lorin Ashton, stage name: Bassnectar. He is currently midstride in his Divergent Spectrum tour, promoting his last album that released in early August of this year.

She questions and diagnoses choice issues within cultures around the world. Her studies have made her a world-renowned expert on the subject.

PASIC is coming!

Within the unofficial arts capital of the United States, Indianapolis, IN, the Percussive Arts Society is headquartered. Established in 1961, PAS is an association dealing with all matters percussion. The PAS provides resources for it members to connect with other percussionists. PAS also provides monthly newsletters writing on top percussion news, teaching tools for educators and students as well as hosting PASIC.
